Casey Anthony released from jail

Florida, USA: Casey Anthony was released from an Orange Country jail early in the morning on Sunday.

The woman was acquitted of murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.  The verdict that was announced 12 days ago of her release, drew furious responses and even threats from people across America.

Everyone had been following Anthony’s case with keen eyes and kept ears opened.

Anthony was wearing a pink T-shirt with blue jeans and left the jail at 12:14 a.m. local time with her attorney, Jose Baez.

She was given$537.68 in cash from her jail account and was escorted outside by two sheriff’s deputies armed with semi-automatic rifles, reports Yahoo.

There were reporters and protesters outside but neither Anthony nor Baez said anything to them.

The Anthony case became a hot topic even since two-year old Caylee Anthony was reported missing by grand mother and was found murdered in the woods. The case was flashed across media in the United States when Caylee’s mother Casey was unable to provide solid information to the police about the girl or even herself.
